Asphalt paving
Parking lots, drives, and roadways paved to spec — base prep through final lift.
Asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, driveways, parking lots, and sealcoating — the same crew that built the base finishes the surface.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Pavement fails when the base underneath it was never right. We control both.
Parking lots, drives, and roadways paved to spec — base prep through final lift.
Sidewalks, pads, and structural flatwork poured and finished to grade.
Residential and commercial driveways — gravel, asphalt, or concrete, built on a base that won't heave or settle.
Full parking lot builds from subgrade through striping, sized for the traffic they'll actually carry.
Sealcoat applied to protect and extend the life of existing asphalt surfaces.
ADA-compliant striping and markings laid down as the last step, not an afterthought.

PAVEMENT, ANSWERED
The questions we get most from owners and GCs before this kind of job starts.
It depends on square footage, base condition, and thickness required for the traffic load — a residential driveway and a commercial parking lot aren't priced the same way. We walk the site and give you an itemized number based on the base you actually have, not a per-square-foot guess.
Asphalt is typically drivable within 24 to 48 hours but can take weeks to fully cure — avoid heavy loads, tight turns, or parking in one spot during that window. Concrete generally needs about a week before light traffic and closer to a month for full strength. We'll give you exact timing for your project.
Asphalt costs less up front, installs faster, and is easier to patch, but has a shorter lifespan and softens in extreme heat. Concrete costs more up front but lasts longer and holds up better under heavy or stationary loads. We'll walk through the trade-offs for your specific site during the free walk.
WHY IT MATTERS
Additional industry benchmarks (regional market data, compliance figures) are being sourced and will be added here.
"Every job has a week where something goes sideways. What sets Oxen Civil apart is they are always there for us. No surprises on change orders, no radio silence. When you're running five jobs at once, that's worth more than the invoice."— Tom Nagle, Project Manager, Mr. Pave
